His fan from Saudi Arabia wrote on Twitter, “Mr Bachchan the great and one of the best actors in the entertainment world, you are an honor not only to India but to the world. Thank you for the gift you sent.” It means a lot.” He also shared emojis of the flags of Saudi Arabia and India with folded hands.

Amitabh replied to him and shared, “T 4591 – my dearest and most thoughtful friend.. I am so honored that you have gifted me the steel sleeve jacket which I wore in my film Shahenshah.. The day I will tell you how I was able to retrieve it.. my love to you… @Turki_alalshikh. Fans on Twitter praised the veteran actor’s generous gift, while others wished the ailing Amitabh. A fan shared Did, “That’s generous of you to share but shouldn’t that jacket be part of a museum. It’s historic.”

In an interview with Rediff, director Tinu Anand revealed Amitabh’s professionalism on the sets despite being ill during the filming. He had said, “When he was working on Shahenshah, he had a muscle ailment. Yet he insisted on wearing a heavy costume – the arm alone weighed 18 kilos!
